As Fair Chair, I am pleased to bring greetings on behalf of the many volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure your experience at our Old Fashioned Country Fair is enjoyable.

Our Fair is unique! Although we don't have the hustle and bustle of a midway, we do provide a variety of quality entertainment for the children who attend the Fair. Since 1909, our Fair has focused on our agricultural roots. Cobble Hill's history is grounded in agriculture and because of our excellent climate, we are able to produce a wide variety of quality crops and agricultural products. At our Fair you will see a wide variety of animals, produce, baking, handicrafts, demonstrations, talented entertainers, antique machinery, and so much more.

Having been a member of 4-H as a boy, I can attest to the fact there is no group of individuals more committed to our community than those who belong to the Farmers Institute at Cobble Hill and those who work year round to stage our Fair.

On a personal note, I would like to thank the members of our Fair committee and all of the volunteers who help to ensure your day at the Fair is enjoyable. We all extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Fair sponsors for without them we could not stage this wonderful family event.

To those who have taken time to enter their specialty into the Fair and to those who attend and enjoy this special event - thank you!

We all look forward to seeing you at the fair!
